Why closed-compartment delivery is different
Open tray robots are excellent for visible food or hospitality service. A closed robot is better suited when the item should remain protected, private or separated during transport. That makes it useful for documents, internal mail, medicines, samples, amenities, guest requests and selected sensitive supplies.
Built around repeated internal journeys
The business case is strongest where employees repeatedly walk the same corridor or floor-to-floor route. The robot performs predictable point-to-point transport while staff focus on higher-value work.
One platform, several industries
Office deployments focus on documents and internal courier tasks. Hospitals focus on pharmacy, supplies and selected samples. Hotels focus on room service, amenities and guest-request delivery.
Building integration matters
A multi-floor project may require elevator integration, door access, network coverage and defined waiting points. These are deployment questions that RIFE should validate before committing to a route design.
Pilot the workflow before scale
A pilot should measure route time, staff time saved, hand-off reliability, obstacle behaviour, lift access where applicable, charging pattern and user adoption.
