One lockable and powered compartment for every device. The RIFE LS-Lab20 is a 20-compartment laptop charging locker designed for compact classrooms, offices, training rooms and IT departments. Each device is stored behind its own locking door and charges through a dedicated AC socket inside the compartment.
This individual-door design is different from a conventional charging trolley, where an entire fleet is kept behind one or two shared doors. The LS-Lab20 provides separate compartments for assigned users, departments or devices, helping improve organisation and accountability.
Key Features
- 20 individual compartments: one dedicated position for each laptop or tablet.
- Charge while locked: every compartment includes an AC socket for the original device adaptor.
- Choice of lock: select a key lock or number lock according to the access policy.
- Numbered device allocation: assign a compartment to a user, student, team or asset.
- Mobile cabinet: four omni-directional castors with brakes support movement and secure parking.
- Electrical and physical protection: overvoltage protection and a security anchor point are included in the listed configuration.
Applications and Users
The LS-Lab20 is suited to smaller device fleets and locations where floor space must be used efficiently. Typical locations include schools, universities, libraries, training centres, corporate offices, hospitals, laboratories and IT departments.
- Schools and training centres: assign one locking compartment to each student, teacher or device.
- Offices and IT departments: separate access for departmental laptops and shared equipment.
- Hospitals and laboratories: organised charging for compatible devices used by authorised teams.
- Libraries and universities: controlled individual access without exposing the full device fleet.

Choosing the Right Lock and Device Fit
A key-lock version is suitable when an administrator manages access. A number-lock version can support assigned or user-controlled compartments without issuing individual keys. Device thickness, charger size and cable routing should be checked before finalising the cabinet.
Individual-Door Access
The LS-Lab20 is positioned as an individual-door charging cabinet rather than a self-service code-lock bank. Each device has its own powered compartment, with a choice of key or number lock. This distinction separates it from the RL10 and RL24 models, which use user-set code locks and include AC plus USB power in every bay.
Electrical and Installation Planning
Check the complete device, case, adaptor and cable dimensions against the listed compartment size. Confirm the total charging load, wall supply, castor route, parking position and security-anchor location before installation.
