One lockable and powered compartment for every device. The RIFE LS-Lab30 is a 30-compartment laptop charging locker designed for larger classrooms, departments, libraries and shared-device programmes. Each device is stored behind its own locking door and charges through a dedicated AC socket inside the compartment.
This individual-door design is different from a conventional charging trolley, where an entire fleet is kept behind one or two shared doors. The LS-Lab30 provides separate compartments for assigned users, departments or devices, helping improve organisation and accountability.
Key Features
- 30 individual compartments: one dedicated position for each laptop or tablet.
- Charge while locked: every compartment includes an AC socket for the original device adaptor.
- Choice of lock: select a key lock or number lock according to the access policy.
- Numbered device allocation: assign a compartment to a user, student, team or asset.
- Mobile cabinet: four omni-directional castors with brakes support movement and secure parking.
- Electrical and physical protection: overvoltage protection and a security anchor point are included in the listed configuration.
Applications and Users
The LS-Lab30 is suited to organisations that need more capacity without moving to the largest forty-door model. Typical locations include schools, universities, libraries, training centres, corporate offices, hospitals, laboratories and IT departments.
- Schools and universities: individual charging positions for larger classes and shared-device programmes.
- Corporate offices and training facilities: assign powered compartments by user, department or asset.
- Hospitals and laboratories: separate access for compatible devices used across teams or shifts.
- Libraries and IT departments: higher capacity without moving to the forty-door configuration.

Choosing the Right Lock and Device Fit
A key-lock version is suitable when an administrator manages access. A number-lock version can support assigned or user-controlled compartments without issuing individual keys. Device thickness, charger size and cable routing should be checked before finalising the cabinet.
Individual-Door Access
The LS-Lab30 uses thirty separate doors in a three-column layout. It is designed for assigned access through key or number locks, while each compartment provides its own AC socket. This makes it different from a centrally managed trolley and from the RL series of self-service code-lock bays.
Electrical and Installation Planning
Check full device, case, adaptor and cable dimensions against the compartment size. Confirm the total charging load, wall circuit, movement route, braked parking position and security-anchor location before installation.
