Charging carts let you store, charge, and transport multiple laptops, tablets, or Chromebooks in a single secure unit. They eliminate cable clutter, prevent device theft, and ensure every device is fully charged and ready for the next class, shift, or session. The right cart depends on how many devices you manage, what type of devices they are, and how you use them.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between a charging cart and a charging locker?
Charging carts use open slots or shared compartments to store and charge devices. Charging lockers give each device its own individually lockable door. Lockers offer more security per device; carts offer faster access and are better for shared-use programs. See our Charging Locker Buying Guide for a full comparison.
What USB-C wattage do I need?
20W is sufficient for iPads and Android tablets. 45W suits iPad Pro and Samsung Galaxy Tab. 65W is needed for MacBooks and laptops. Choose the wattage based on the most power-hungry device in your fleet.
What is sequence charging?
Sequence charging staggers the start of charging for each device rather than starting all simultaneously. This prevents circuit overload, reduces heat buildup, and extends the life of both the cart and the devices.
Can I get a custom capacity?
Yes. RIFE manufactures charging carts in custom capacities and configurations. Contact our team with your device count, device type, and space constraints.
